update 2.6.1 puts the controls in deeper menus, and makes quick changes impossible. why is the developer always drastically changing the layout of this app? this latest update is not intuitive and the mixer control menu blocks the main playing grid- especially strange when theres so much empty space where the mixer controls used to be. i had previously purchased the in-app pro version, but feel I was tricked into repurchasing because the button to restore is unlabeled, tiny, and in the corner of the screen- opposed to the labeled button in the center that takes your money. I would like my $14.00 back.

Pretty much the best app ever, well for me at least, I want to make video games but I figured one of my biggest problems would be the music... Then I found this app, this really helped out a lot but I wish there were more free instruments to choose from

I got the Beatwave pro edition, and spending 10 bucks on an app like this... I got it the very first time I downloaded the app. And I do not regret anything at all. This app is number 1 for Apple iPhones/IPads! Everyone reading this. Ive have not had any glitches, or game breakdowns. Currently have an iPhone4s And love the app. And use it almost all the time I want to creat My Music! So far this is it... -Runs very smooth. -Rarely have game crashes -non of my data is lost from this app. -have the pro edition, with nearly 200 different type of instruments! -the record feature to create you own sounds is very nice. But recording more than 4 times will crash the game... -also the ringtone creation feature is broken, possibly because of my current phone... And lastly... Its only $10 To get everything!!! I highly recommend this app... Anyone seeing this... Buy this app BEATWAVE... And I would say... MONEY WELL SPENT!!!

Easy to use! Very fun! Can make really nice gruve, hovewer I am not sure how to transfer it into my computer

Its pretty great! I would recommend it for anyone, who learns quick, or is good at tech. There is a tutorial, though!it is still hard.

I have been noodling with the 10$ pro app and I am quite satisfied with the the software other than the fact that Im having trouble exporting the music to any other apps on my phone other than soundcloud and facebook. Trackd is what I would like to be able to export to mainly. Please fix this?

This app offers both the simplicity to allow those without any music theory knowledge or experience to jump right in and make music that sounds good. The interface is intuitive, though the individual squares can be difficult to pinpoint if your fingers are as far as mine. Even better, there are also enough tools to allow someone with more music experience to craft music as they wish, with a variety of scales, instruments and presets to play with. While this isnt going to help you compose a symphony (or anything longer than four measures), its plenty to make some satisfying tunes. Pro tip: hold down over the grid itself to copy/paste the contents into other grids. This is invaluable in building loops.

I enjoy this app a lot, I have purchased the pro pack. I was wondering if you can add new sound packs but no more high frequency stuff theres too much of that. I need different sounds / instruments.

This is a great app but the recent update caused problems. The measures dont continue in time and turning off and on tracks isnt instant anymore. Please fix this

I have enjoyed using this app. As a professional musician Im always looking for new ways to explore music. The biggest problem I have with Beatwave is the line that moves across the grid which shows you where you are is always a sixteenth note ahead of the sound you hear. Maybe Im being picky but I really feel like Im out of sync when I see the line pass through the square and hear the note after.

Beatwave Pro is a really good investment! I publishe my songs on SoundCloud and I get more and more followers. The sounds are QUALITY! You can really tweak them and be creative. I really like this and I cant imagine using anything else. I just wish the developers would update it with new sounds... maybe V A P O R W A V E? I found this app a while back and at first I sucked at it but when I looked at the pre-made songs I figured out you could create up to four sections per sound. Overall, very well made.

Really nice for someone like me who is beginning

Ive been using this game for quite a while and Im trying to create Hopes and Dreams in Undertale but one problem I need more Scales than one to create this kind of music.. Can you please accept this.

This app is great! I love all the drums, all the synths and everything! But there is just some minor problems. Some of the drums sets like "Kit house mouse" and "Plasto", if you replay them too much, some of the drums cannot be heard anymore. And Synths like Chiado, Starlow, Unwell 64 and more, sounds too quiet. And as for Drop, 1 noise sounds too quiet. Also you cant even give the project the name you want, if I try to change the name, it reverts back to its original name. And the app crashed once while I was recording my song, and half my project was gone. Can you fix those problems? But I also have ideas. This app would be nicer if you could choose the number of instruments for your project (Up to 10). You should add more styles like Drum and bass, or hardstyle. Thanks for reading this!

I know everyone says, "I dont usually write reviews but...", but....,but, but, this is a great app to play with for beginners or fun for recording artsy types who want to map out some quick ideas etc. Whomever is behind this fun little app must be a mix between santa clause and a generous wizard from upon high. I love it guys! I hope you have the means to push this little app as far as your magical ju-ju allows. Sincere Thanks! I can tell you had fun creating it... it shows through out. ;)
